ITW Injection Molding Technician - 3rd Shift in Hebron, Illinois
Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Mold changeovers determining part defect, root cause and implementing appropriate corrective action.
Preventative maintenance of injection molds by performing scheduled mold inspection which includes the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of intricate mold tooling.
Verify mold tooling dimensional conformance to print tolerances using component and reliable measurement techniques. - Hebron/NC/EGV
Document in detail work performed on mold tooling maintenance work orders.
Setup and operate molding machinery and support equipment.
Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance functions.
Work closely with setup technicians and operators to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Compliant with OSHA regulations.
Ensure good housekeeping.
Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety
Good Manufacturing Practices
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years combined experience with plastic injection mold and tooling.
Knowledge of Validation Process
Capabilities of making independent tooling recommendations
Ability to effectively train technician trainees
Must possess good communication/interpretation skills, good visual skills for accessing functionality of equipment, above basic mathematical skills, above minimum computer skill set, and reasoning ability.
Must possess mechanical aptitude and ability to adapt and learn.
Able to read and interpret blueprints.
Compensation Information:
Pay Range : $21.00 - $33.00 an hour
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. As applicable this role will also receive overtime compensation and may be eligible for shift premium compensation.

Vacation - up to 80 hours within first year
Sick - up to 40 hours within first year
Floating Holiday - up to 8 hours within first year
