ITW Human Resources Intern in Hebron, Illinois

ITW Medical is comprised of two highly-respected medical product brands - Coeur & Filtertek – supplying medical devices and components to global medical device brands. Filtertek manufactures molded filtration and flow control components. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable diagnostic imaging consumables.

General Description:

This position is a paid internship for the summer of 2024. The key objectives include supporting Human Resources projects around our completion of the employee survey, assistance with employee engagement activities, leading recruitment efforts, and assisting with our document management process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Perceptyx survey participation for Hebron & EGV and ensure targeted participation percentage is met. Gather feedback once survey is complete and lead agreed upon action items to ensure execution of actions during internship.

  • Lead Hebron & EGV employee appreciation event through the employee engagement committee.

  • Lead recruitment efforts for open positions. Including resume review, screening of candidates, scheduling interviews, and providing weekly updates.

  • Lead document management/filing project which will allow us to go paperless.

  • Work with the Human Resources Team to assist with day-to-day employee requests.

  • 3rd or 4th year Student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration Degree.

  • Previous intern experience preferred in Training, OD, or HR department.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision required.
