Job Summary: We are seeking a Skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks to support our projects and ensure they are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting up and preparing construction sites.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Support skilled tradespeople as needed.
• Basic math skills to perform calculations while measuring on job sites and to help the surveying crew.
• Mechanical skills to use any necessary heavy machinery and equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy labor, such as moving materials.
• Physical stamina to handle the long hours of performing strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to read or understand instructions and blueprints.
• Effective time management skills.
• Understanding of building codes, safety protocols and OSHA standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
