Job Summary As the Payroll Processor, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of assigned payrolls using ADP Workforce Now& ADP E-Time, for approximately 5,500 employees. You are responsible for compliance of all relevant internal controls, federal, state and local rules and regulations as well as time reporting policies while working in an environment of strict deadlines and confidentiality. About You: You are a detailed oriented, organized, payroll professional able to work under strict deadlines. You have demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with employees and management. You possess a logical and methodical work manner accompanied by high level of attention to detail and confidentiality. You will spend your time: Processing Weekly, Biweekly, Semi-monthly and Monthly payrolls for assigned employees using ADP Workforce Now. Responsible for accurate processing of all aspects of the payroll process including but not limited to, maintaining and processing time and attendance records; processing all payroll deductions; processing compensation changes, overtime and shift changes and withholding adjustments. Performing pre-processing and post-processing payroll reconciliation tasks as required. Preparing and providing all required payroll and related reports needed for month end and payroll general ledger posting. Processing benefits interfaces into and out of the payroll system and related funding. Reviewing, troubleshooting, and resolving interface data that feeds into the payroll system. Respond to all auditor inquiries. Completing mortgage and employment verification forms. Respond to inquiries and requests from local tax authorities. Responding to payroll inquiries from employees via email or tickets. Complete Union dues monthly remittance and reports. Coordination with Human Resources to ensure all Workday employee information is passed to payroll accurately and with appropriate backup required for auditing purposes. Serve as point of contact for payroll and timekeeping system, troubleshooting and problem resolution. Responsible for review and accurate completion of periodic and year-end reporting information. Additional tasks and projects as assigned. Required Skills: 5 years Payroll processing experience on ADP WFN and E-Time Firm understanding of payroll processing principles Excellent communication skills. Must be able to interact with various levels of management. Must work well under strict deadlines and under a high-volume environment where multi-tasking is essential. Knowledge of local tax regulations and implications.
