Our guests count on us for the highest quality products and we need you to join our team to help support our store! From helping a guest pick out the perfect watermelon to building a fun display with berries that catches the eyes of our customers, this job involves a whole lot of fun! As our full-time Assistant Produce Department manager you will: Interact with our customers and share the things you learn about produce in helping them make their purchasing decisions. Practice the first-in first-out stocking method, ensuring product makes it out onto the sales floor for prompt customer purchase. Rotate product and ensure our sales floor is fresh, full, and eye-appealing! Help unload deliveries and prepare carts for our team members to stock product on the salesfloor Follow all food safety and general safety practices to ensure we are the safest place to work and shop! Help write the department\'s work schedule and daily assignment sheets while assisting with the training and coaching of our employees. At our Hayward store - we are one giant team!
