Robert Half Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist in Hayward, California
Description
Our client is an industry leading manufacturing company located in the East Bay. They are looking for a senior accounts receivable specialist to join their team today. This is a hybrid position which does require a few days in the office every week.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process using SAP software.
Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to customers.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
Process customer payments, reconcile accounts, and prepare bank deposits.
Review credit limits and release orders based on credit policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts receivable reports for management review.
Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to accounts receivable.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a senior role.
Proficiency in SAP ERP software and advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
