ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY…

The Storage Operations Manager is the owner of the storage and warehouse facilities for Crozier UK and has responsibility for driving and managing end-to-end topline revenue, costs and EBITDA performance through focusing on Operational excellence and an exceptional Client experience.

This role leads the UK warehouse teams in ensuring Storage Operations is of the highest quality, is compliant and provides a safe environment for staff, client’s and their property, while partnering with other functions/teams to coordinate access to shared services and corporate functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES…

  • Operational Management: Ensure all storage teams operate safely and efficiently. Maintain a high level of accuracy through standardised processes. Help drive and modernise process change and efficiencies as well as standardise procedures across all Crozier UK locations.

  • Financial Oversight – Help manage financial reporting from an operational standpoint consistent with market strategy and capacity utilisation. Assist those pricing and structuring deals to acquire new business with the objectives of maintaining a high rate of growth, increasing market share, and improving profitability by achieving operating leverage.

  • Revenue Management – Drive revenue growth for the market by effectively managing resources - warehouses and staff - and ensuring utilisation is efficient and practical.

  • Operational Excellence, Standards & Compliance – Review and analyze activity to understand resource allocation, business capacity, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure safety & security procedures are followed and understood by the teams. Ensure the quality of service is continuously improving and is built on a solid foundation of excellence.Effectively manage the Storage Operations team to ensure the delivery of Crozier’s high level of services while managing costs effectively. Facilitate collaboration with essential Global Operations functions, including International and Domestic shipping, Crating, Artist Exhibits, Engineering, and Facility Maintenance to drive efficient performance for the overall market. Participate in audits from the Internal Audit group and show continuous improvement. Accountable for response and all action items noted as discrepancies.

  • People Leadership – Responsible for recruitment and development of talent within Storage Department. Manage turnover to an acceptable level. Drive annual review process adhering to timeline and budget guidelines—overall responsibility for employee relations, performance management, talent management and staff attrition. Interface with employees regularly in roundtables, staff meetings, and one on ones. Act as a change agent within the market. Communicate critical company and market updates to the team. Ensure Crozier and Iron Mountain’s core values are upheld throughout the market, providing the necessary leadership and focus to the frontline workforce. Foster and promote a positive work environment for all employees.

  • Process Orientated- Able to analyse existing processes with key stakeholders and lead implementation, development and standardisation of these to modernise our warehouse function in line with our immediate growth strategy and service requirements

  • Team Builder – Able to attract talented people, build a team with complementary strengths, build trust, develop people, and give effective feedback.

  • Drives Execution – Orientation towards execution, passionate about the details, owns decision making, drives for results.

  • Strong communicator – Excellent verbal, written, and stand-up skills - able to influence others inside and outside the organization in a planned, well-informed way. Can thoughtfully and diplomatically influence a wide variety of stakeholders and partners to accomplish tasks and achieve quality results. Good listening, reasoning, and motivating skills

  • Exceptional Problem Solving - ability to manage the trade-off between performance and economics. Solid experience handling various situations such as customer, service delivery, and people issues.

  • Market Knowledge: fine arts market experience preferred
