A fantastic opportunity is currently available for a Project Specialist to join our PSU team based within our Customer Services department at PCI Hay on Wye.

The successful candidate will report to the Project Set Up Manager and will be joining a strong team who are responsible for providing processing and administration support for clients, wider Customer Services department and the wider business.

This is an office based role on a full time, permanent basis. Contracted working hours are 08.00 am - 16.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Key duties of the role

  • Administrative duties to support with key client accounts as instructed by the Line Manager

  • Data entry

  • Creation and maintenance of documentation (bath documentation, work orders etc)

  • Liaising with different departments to support with project set-up and day to day activities

  • Maintain and improve Key Performance Indicators as defined by senior management. For example (but not limited to) On Time Delivery, revenue targets, Right First Time, Schedule Adherence, minimising stock requirements.

  • Promotes continuous improvement in all aspects of Commercial packaging and contributes positively and proactively.

  • Commitment and adherence to GMP principles and PCI policies, procedures and rules

Essential Criteria

  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills; Must be an effective communicator

  • Ability to multi-task and work-well under pressure

  • Self motivated

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and good computer skills

  • Ability to build thriving professional relationships across departments and with key internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience with administrative duties

  • Ability to work well within a team

  • Reliable with good time keeping skills

  • Able to work well within a team and contribute towards a thriving, high performance team environment

  • Good organisational skills

  • A commitment and enthusiasm for learning and professional development

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience within a pharmaceutical/healthcare company

  • Experience in a customer-facing role

  • Support continuous improvement activities
