Main purpose of role :

Responsible for artwork co-ordination across the Hay and Dublin sites, including:

  • Origination of artwork and packaging and process components to meet the customer, PCI PharmaServices and regulatory needs.

  • Co-ordinate artwork and component updates as per standard process to support SKU extensions.

  • Maintenance of site material and components specifications database and department trackers.

  • Co-ordination of supplier origination costs ensuring alignment to customer Purchase order and Invoicing.

  • Ensure high quality of artworks and process compliance.

  • Coordinate internal and external customers and suppliers.

  • Use of ERP systems e.g. Smartsheets, JDE, MasterControl etc.

  • Develop working relationships within the business and with external suppliers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure all activities undertaken are in accordance with statutory, regulatory and company EHS, cGMP and technical standards, procedures and systems.

  • Development and maintenance of the materials and component specifications and ways of working including but not limited to databases, specifications, templates, SOP’s and training.

  • Maintenance of the site component specification databases including preferred site standards.

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects as required to ensure improved efficiencies, reduced waste and cost.

  • Assist in technical, product and process reviews to resolve operational, performance and functional issues.

  • To undertake such tasks and to manage specific or ad hoc projects as and when required to meet department and business needs and within the scope of the job-holder’s capabilities.

  • You will be responsible for artwork and packaging updates for new product launches as well as customer or regulatory driven artwork changes for existing products.

  • Raise and coordinate packaging artwork change controls.

Work Experience and Skills Required

Essential

  • Managing multiple projects, highly organised, confident working in a fast paced environment whilst maintain a strong level of customer service.

  • A flexible and willing attitude.

  • Communication skills to interact with internal and external customers at a senior level.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • with the ability to adjust communication style to suit the audience

  • with the ability to clearly present and deliver information and data to audiences of, differing levels seniority and knowledge

  • Ability to represent the company in a professional and highly competent manner.

  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability prioritise and to manage deadlines.

  • Excellent level of attention to detail

  • Ability to adjust working hours to meet the needs of the business.

  • Ability to travel on company business as required.

Desirable

  • Previous office and operational based manufacturing & packaging experience in a Pharmaceutical or FMCG business

  • Proven experience in specification and origination of packaging and process components

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Proficient utilisation of software packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio and a high level of computer literacy.

  • Maths and English minimum GCSE A-C equivalent.

Desirable

  • Competent Adobe Illustrator user with the ability to create and modify existing drawings.

  • A qualification in Adobe Illustrator.

  • The job holder is responsible for adhering to PCI Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Health, Safety and Environmental rules, General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory guidelines.
