Front Desk Receptionist
Do you have a way of making people feel at ease and comfortable, even if you don’t know them? Are you able to multitask without feeling overwhelmed? Then we want to talk to you about our Front Desk position. Our busy Eye Care practice needs a Front Desk Receptionist to help us give our patients a 5-star experience all the time, every time!
No Experience Required
We offer paid training for the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning to the Lakeside Vision Exceptional Standard of Care. Anyone with prior medical office or eyecare experience is also welcome to apply.
How will you make a difference?
You will have the incredible honor of setting the stage for each patient’s appointment. When our patients walk in, you will be the first person they see to reassure them they have made the right decision in choosing our practice.
Some of your duties will include:
- Making sure patients feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door
Pleasantly answering questions and making appointments for new and existing patients-
Reviewing and organizing patient medical charts for accuracy and authenticity
Using your friendliest phone voice to answer incoming calls, take messages and complete outreach to patients
Opening and closing the office
Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
Checking patients in/out and processing payments
Scan and store documents
- Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information
Requirements
