SW & CREW Ag Equipment Operator in HAVRE, Montana
Temporary full time position from 2/15/2025 to 12/1/2025 The Ag Equipment Operator position will be required to perform a variety of duties related to farming and crop production. Worker will be required to operate farm equipment including driving and operating modern tractor with GPS, farm truck, grain auger, swather and other equipment to harrow, plow, till, seed, spray, and harvest wheat, barley, peas and lentils. Worker will be required to load and unload semi trucks, repair and maintain farm equipment; pick rocks and perform general cleanup of farm acreage and equipment facilities, and clean, maintain and winterize farm equipment at the end of season. Worker must be willing to perform tasks capably and efficiently without close supervision, and work singly or in small groups of workers. The job entails working with farm machinery, outdoors in all types of weather (extreme heat, wind, dust, rain, snow) and occasional exposure to poisonous snakes and predators. Extensive walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 100 pounds is required; extensive sitting for long hours driving farm equipment during harvest is required. Worker is required to work long/odd hours and split shifts during harvest season. Drivers License is required. Increased wages and bonus may be possible depending on experience.
