The Production Operator (Filtration/Cleanroom) for Cytiva is responsible for working with leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers professionally and efficiently, while contributing to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
This position reports to the Sr Manager, Value Stream and is part of the Production Operations department located in Hauppauge, NY and will be on-site.
What you will do:
Inspect and assemble filtration devices, and utilize manufacturing tools and equipment according to established work instructions and specifications.
Complete appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures – including but not limited to production documents, batch control records, scrap/quality issues, and scorecards.
Ensure operations are performed safely and with a high level of quality, per our specifications and standards. Associates in this role are also responsible for delivery objectives and may be required to perform additional duties to contribute to continuous improvement efforts for the manufacturing process.
Who you are:
High school diploma (or equivalent) is required; preference for technical education, higher education.
2-5 years work experience in a manufacturing/production environment (clean room/chemical handling experience is preferred).
Knowledge of basic mathematics; ability to read, comprehend, and follow written work instructions in English; working knowledge of computers and Microsoft OS; and ability to use basic measuring equipment (rulers, calipers, etc…)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Standing in your position for 8 hours/day and perform focused tasks in a noisy environment.
Safely lifting up to 50lbs.
Working in a clean room environment, where gowns and PPE must be worn for extended periods.

The hourly range for this role is $18.50 - $20.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
