Accounts Receivable Specialist
Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking the skills, expertise, and talent of a dedicated and result-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a professional services firm in the Hauppauge area.
As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:
Post daily account receivables and ensure accurate invoicing within established deadlines.
Manage collections, investigate payment delays, and resolve billing issues.
Process billing adjustments, credit memos, and maintain updated records of invoices.
Perform AR account reconciliations and communicate effectively with internal departments.
Evaluate and improve invoice and collection processes.

Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory
• Prior experience in Billing, Cash Collections, and Commercial Collections is required
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Billing Collection is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
• Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently and independently
• Must demonstrate high attention to detail, particularly in managing accounts and keeping records
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Willingness to continue learning and improving professional skills.
