Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Grades: Pre-k-3rd
Caseload: Approximately 45 students
AnthroMed Education is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to provide temporary coverage for a staff member going on FMLA leave starting March 2024. This position will begin in March for a transition period to review IEPs and meet with the current SLP before they go on leave in April. The position will continue through May 23rd, 2024. This successful candidate will provide speech and language services to students in grades Pre-K to 3rd, offering bilingual services to a caseload of approximately 45 students. This role requires proficiency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.
Responsibilities:
-Direct Services: Provide speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders (articulation, language delays, fluency, etc.), following IEP goals and utilizing evidence-based practices.
IEP Management: Review and implement IEPs for each student on the caseload. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of new IEPs as necessary.
Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct speech and language assessments as needed, including re-evaluations and initial evaluations, to determine student needs and progress.
Work Schedule:
-(K-3): Mondays
-Pre-K: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
Fridays: Only if needed for catch-up on minutes, evaluations, or other tasks
Caseload: Approximately 45 students
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
PEL License
Bilingual Requirements: Proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
