20 Farm workers needed to harvest cherries. Worker will be required to possess the physical strength and endurance to repeat the harvest process though out the workday, working quickly and skillfully to perform activities: The production and machine harvesting of tart and sweet cherries; the production and hand harvesting of sweet cherries and apples; loaded cherries for transport at our Cooling Pad -include a variety of tasks such as probing, prepping, dewatering, and barreling or bagging cherries prior to transport; Site preparation according to the employer's instructions; other specific work activities may include tree planting, picking up rocks/roots/debris, installation/maintenance of irrigation, pruning and training of vines and trees and machinery operation, hand harvest of apples and cherries and machine harvest of cherries. Specific work rules and food safety rules will be provided at the time of employment. Workers will be provided employer owned transportation to and from work daily from the housing. Work will occur in Van Buren County, Michigan.

Work schedule is generally 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Additional hours may be offered but not required.

Workers will be paid a minimum of $18.50 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more through piece rate work.

Employer provides housing at no cost to workers who are not reasonably able to return same day to their residence. Separate sleeping rooms and bathroom facilities are designated for male and female workers. The employer agrees to provide family housing at no cost to workers with families who request it.
