TEKsystems Payroll Analyst in Hartford, Connecticut

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for hospital staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, deductions, and benefits.

  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.

  • Assist in the preparation of year-end tax documents and reports.

  • Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing for a multi-state employer with greater than 1,000 employees.

  • Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Oracle or Kronos preferred)

  • Prior payroll experience in healthcare preferred.

  • Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Details:

  • Pay: $35/hr. - $43/hr. based on related experience and education.

  • Pay Cycle – weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered.

  • Hybrid position – (1 onsite day per week is required)

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1st shift (40 hours per week)
