As an Account Manager, Mid-Market you will be in a position of key importance as we continue to grow and expand our client base. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients; developing strategic relationships with those clients and growing the share of travel spend with Amex GBT Egencia. You will also need to show period-over-period revenue growth, long-term profitability & client retention.
What You'll Do:
You will optimize the Customer Engagement Process and reinforce the value of transacting with Amex GBT Egencia
You will be responsible for insuring that the total share of corporate travel spend remains and grows with Amex GBT Egencia
You will be involved with the client during implementation, launch and through the life of their Egencia partnership. They are the voice of the client, the advocate on product and service needs and must have an in-depth knowledge of Egencia products and offerings
You will customize client travel plans, develop long-term relationships, and ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty
You will have a high bias for action, and a keen sense of attention to detail
What We're Looking For:
3-5 years' experience in support of a B2B sales organization
experience in account management &/or sales
experience working in a Corporate Travel sales organization a plus
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to concisely communicate key issues/results in a manner appropriate to the audience
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment with time constraints, time management and organizational pro!
Superb problem solving skills and can-do attitude
Assist in sales, pre-sales and consulting services activities
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Ability to interpret information gathered and develop and present (orally and in writing) sound business conclusions
Ability to effectively manage and ensure timely delivery for client based projects
This position is virtual throughout the United States.

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $46,000 to $93,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that Egencia expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual Performance Based Incentive, which rewards participants based on company performance, one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain direct sales roles only), or one of our Client Management Incentive Award (CMIA) programs. An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period.
