We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant who will providing services to the Dose Formulation Laboratory at our site at Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Please note, this role is part time, working Monday to Friday, 25hr a week

Main responsibilities include:

• Glassware cleaning

• General good housekeeping procedures

• Sterilisation of glassware

• Answering hatch queries

• Delivering formulations and completing the associated documentation

• Preparation of laboratory standard reagents such as buffers or vehicles

• Stores orders

• Must have a current full driving licence or CBT licence

• All the above will be performed with minimal supervision on satisfactory completion of training

Education / Qualifications:

• Minimum GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths, English and Science

Skills / Experience:

• Team working skills

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions with excellent attention to detail
