Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$186,300.00 - $298,200.00

What Is the Opportunity?

What Will You Do?

  • Design tailored Claim service programs, partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance relationships, and drive sales and retention through business strategies and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, and brokers.

  • Design, communicate and train claim professionals on our multi-line customer claim expectations as defined in our Special Account Instructions. Evaluate the delivery by Claim Professionals against those service goals.

  • Serve as Business Practice Lead for National Accounts and Constitution State Services.

  • Support all product line distribution relationships with Enterprise distribution and International CAE operation.

  • Partner with marketing teams for the development of sales material in partnership with Claim Product groups.

  • Ensure service issues are resolved, identify service trends and works with business partners to address findings.

  • Develop and monitor operational metrics for the CAE organization that demonstrate the on-going economic value to the business. Partner with business and claim management to oversee the review and monitoring of financial and qualitative operating results.

  • Develop customer feedback strategy and execution plan for CAE serviced Customers. Analyze customer feedback and collaborate internally to develop recommendations and solutions based on feedback.

  • Stay up to date on industry and customer group claim service trends and issues. Adjust claim practices, marketing strategies and customer service as appropriate to anticipate, respond to, and manage trends. Educate stakeholders on industry trends and regulatory changes. Identify new methods of educating and informing employees, customers and brokers on trends, regulatory changes, environmental changes, and other issues impacting their business.

  • Lead national Constitution State initiatives for Third Party Administrator product development/enhancements, workflows, system development and regulatory/legislative issues. Design and deliver top tier Third Party Administrator set of Claim Capabilities for CAE serviced accounts.

  • Foster internal relationships with Claim, Marketing, SIU, Subrogation, and Risk Control to ensure service initiatives are coordinated, new business and account information is shared, and customer service issues are fully examined with the best resolution implemented. Ensure customer feedback is communicated and utilized to continuously improve claim performance.

  • May be involved in national line of business initiatives to develop and direct strategies and business plans for product development/ enhancements, best practices, workflow, organization design, system development, management of legislative and regulatory issues, and claim technical support.

  • Oversee, manage, and mentor Claim Account Executive team including attracting and developing, engaging and retaining the right talent for the organization.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

  • Communicative leader with proven ability to effectively develop other leaders.

  • Fifteen plus years’ experience in commercial and/or national accounts claim with Workers Compensation and General Liability background.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members and senior leaders, and other business areas.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic vision and operational road maps.

  • Demonstrated capabilities in innovative thinking and approaches.

  • Demonstrated ability in strategy formation and assessment of competitive environment.

  • Demonstrated expert level analytic and decision-making skills.

  • Advanced negotiation and influencing abilities can balance needs of multiple constituencies effectively.

What is a Must Have?

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

  • Ten years claim experience.

  • Five years of direct management experience.
