As a CBRE Talent Management Director, you are a strategic leader responsible for developing, implementing, and leading Direct Line’s’ resourcing strategy to meet the Company’s growing demand for talent. This role will create and implement a talent strategy driving workforce planning, including forecasting, resourcing onboarding, resource mix and liaising with Agency partners. This creates a competitive edge in the industry, by delivering the right skilled resource, for the right job/role, at the right time.
This job is part of the Talent, Learning & Development function.
What you'll do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive Resourcing / Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Building, maintaining, updating and executing RSG’s multi-year talent strategy.
Drive resource requirements forecasting process with Leadership, Commercial and Operations Team to ensure right people in right place at right time.
Work closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand hiring needs and provide guidance on talent acquisition/resourcing strategies.
Analyze workforce data and market trends, industry practices, competitor hiring strategies and recruitment metrics to drive decision-making and improve recruitment processes
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Implement innovative resourcing strategies to identify and attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
Partner with Talent Acquisition through the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience and adherence to best practices.
Create and execute employer branding initiatives, including social media campaigns, job fairs, and networking events.
Provide necessary and timely communications to all stakeholders to meet the needs of the business.
Monitor and adjust recruitment strategies to align with headcount forecasts and budgetary constraints.
Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and professional organizations.
Develop and manage relationships with external staffing partners, universities, trade schools, military and manage relationships
Partner with Talent Acquisition to measure external staffing performance to ensure company standards and requirements are met
Collaborate with HR and other departments to align recruitment efforts with organizational initiatives and changes.
Analyze future demands and implement measures to build a strong talent pipeline, proactively addressing capacity needs and filling vacancies as required.
Bridge capacity versus demand gaps to ensure optimal resource utilization and operational efficiency.
Assist with executing operational strategies, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Act as a business partner to put in place initiatives and start process improvements.
Partner with executive management to develop and implement strategies that optimize operational performance and support the business.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience in the areas of workforce planning, staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments' results within a function.
Strong business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking skills with some experience outside the Talent Acquisition function preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Experience working in a matrixed organization with strong influence and communications skills.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $135,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $155,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
