Established Territory. Very established, 50+-year-old distributor looking for a salesperson to take over existing territory, Raw Material Chemicals Salesperson. Central PA includes counties Chester, Lancaster, York, Cumberland, and Lebanon. The branch is located in Harrisburg, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Existing relationships/client management: Maintain and nurture relationships with customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
• Consultative Selling: Ability to understand customer needs. Provide possible product recommendations for customer approval. Address their specific needs and challenges.
• Customer Acquisition: Identify and target potential customers, build relationships, and convert leads into sales.
• Product Knowledge: Develop knowledge of the raw material chemicals offered, including applications and benefits.
• Market Analysis: Identify growth opportunities.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.
• Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and close sales deals with customers, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
• Sales Experience: Prior experience in B2B sales, preferably in the chemical industry, is desirable, with at least 3 years experience. Need to be comfortable with value-added selling
• Product Knowledge: Ability to learn and understand product benefits and options for customers.
• Self-motivated: Self-driven and capable of working independently to meet sales targets.
• Problem-solving: Ability to address customer issues and find solutions effectively.
• Education: A technical background would be an advantage. A bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or business preferred
• Must be able to cover Central PA - Those living in Western PA need not apply
