DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position serves as Project Officer for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) lead hazard control and Environmental Lead Investigation (ELI) grants. It oversees the provision of lead services using procurement policies and procedures.

Duties include promptly answering phone calls from the lead information line and responding to inquiries promptly. You administer the day-to-day operations of ARPA funding for lead hazard control and ELI grants. You monitor compliance with grant deliverables in accordance with grant requirements and work plans. Also, you provide technical support to grantees through in-person, telephone, or electronic communications; prepare grant agreements, work statements, requests for proposals, or requests for applications and amendments in accordance with the department's procurement guidelines and timelines; and prepare and review budgets, to assure fiscal accountability and accuracy of vendor invoices. In addition, you schedule monthly meetings, or more frequently as needed, with grantees to monitor progress and troubleshoot any problems that may arise and assists in administration and support of new and existing grants including lead hazard control and lead poisoning prevention grants.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are flexible between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, with 30-minute or 60-minute lunch. You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (commonwealth title); or A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
