Responsibilities for this role involve the planning and management of a variety of activities within the Division of Healthcare Associated Infection Prevention (HAIP), operating under the guidance of the HAIP Program Manager to establish and oversee program objectives and targets. The role entails supervising the progress of grants that fund the HAIP Division, as well as managing contractual project managers or other personnel involved in specific projects within the program. Additionally, the position will act as the main project manager for grants related to Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Healthcare associated infection/antimicrobial stewardship and mycotics. Tasks include monitoring and reporting on progress, tracking budgets, developing implementation plans and budget proposals, drafting and advancing contracts and grants for procurement processes, overseeing contracted vendors, assigning tasks, and supervising project management personnel. The position also involves serving as a supervisor for contractual staff, carrying out assignments both independently and in collaboration with program science-based and project management staff. Work is subject to review by a higher-level administrator to ensure program outcomes are achieved and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures is maintained.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (commonwealth title); or A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
