The Department of Human Services (DHS), Bureau of Fiscal Management (BFM), is actively seeking a Program Analyst 3. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will support the Physical Health component of the HealthChoices Program and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and be responsible for supervising and managing the data needs of the BFM and other bureaus. Your duties will include: Providing actuarial data needs support Managed care encounter data and fee-for-service claim data analysis Being a subject matter expert for department databases and the appropriate use of data sources Supporting managed care risk mitigation, data for capitation rates, hospital payment programs and reporting outcomes Coordinating responses to the Right-to-Know-Law requests Providing technical support for the bureau related to Medical Assistance data and information systems and Coordinating and supervising contracted data staff under teleworking and in-office work settings

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will report to the office one day per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
