The Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) programs in the Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports is seeking someone to assist in program analysis and evaluation, and to provide recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of OCDEL operations.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will review and evaluate OCDEL's programs to determine their impact on children and families and the extent to which established goals and objectives are being met. You will also participate in evaluative research to provide data-informed approaches to policy and programmatic decision-making. Additionally, you will provide assistance in creating and analyzing Early Intervention (EI) reports. Ideally, you will have expertise in statistical analysis software including Microsoft Excel, Statistical Analysis System (SAS), and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. To telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will report to the Forum Building in Harrisburg. It is possible that more frequent days in the office will be required during the training period. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
