DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Procurement Specialist 1, you are responsible for analyzing procurement needs and advising program managers in the development, implementation, and evaluation of procurement contracts and grants. You will negotiate contract terms and conditions, including cost, delivery, performance and technical requirements. Additionally, you will work with the Department Legal Counsel and program staff to enforce procurement policies and recommend corrective actions against non-compliant vendors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
