Job Description

Oracle is growing its Networking team within its rapidly growing Cloud Infrastructure organization. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is focused on creating new Cloud (IaaS) services from scratch – compute, networking, storage, database, security, and an ever-expanding set of foundational cloud-based services. We’re looking for an experienced business, operational, and finance leader to help us scale our Networking business.

This position will work as part of the Networking Business Operations team. The objective of the team is to provide business support through analysis and leadership to enable the successful, efficient, and effective operation of the business across the Networking service teams.

We are seeking a motivated, strategic finance, operations, & metrics analyst with experience supporting a high-growth technology business . You will own day-to-day business operations across complex sets of inputs and outputs and will work across a large group of stakeholders to collectively drive the improvement of key business metrics. You will drive budgeting and forecasting for capex and headcount, as well as be the liaison between the business and finance.

You should have a strong multi-disciplinary operations and finance background with a track record of influencing and presenting to senior business and technology leaders and driving key initiatives at the highest levels. Strong familiarity with program management and strong Excel skills are highly preferred. Significant experience with building and maintaining large financial models and P&L management is a big plus.


  • 8+ proven experience leading finance and operations for a mid to large-sized company

  • BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics, or related subject; MBA is a plus

  • A high degree of organization and ability to handle multiple, competing priorities

  • Ability to work independently and propose solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Excel (e.g. PivotTables, lookups, if-statements, macros)

  • Knowledgeable in PowerPoint, Jira, and Confluence



  • Create and supervise headcount and capex budgets

  • Partner with product management, engineering, and centralized finance teams

  • Establish relationships across OCI’s business teams and service teams

  • Ability to establish credibility as the fiduciary for the business to internal partners and external executive teams

  • Ability to drive a culture of using data insights to help drive decision-making

  • Solid grasp of the business side of technology with an understanding and zeal for metrics/analysis to deliver on business objectives

  • Ability to establish credibility and work with key internal partners to get results

  • Lead the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
