Description
We are actively hiring for a part-time Bookkeeper for a contract opportunity with an established organization in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role operates within the auto industry, where you will be expected to maintain and manage financial records with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Answering and routing incoming phone calls to the appropriate staff member.
Scheduling meetings and appointments while maintaining an up-to-date calendar.
Organizing office meetings and accurately documenting minutes.
Drafting, editing, and distributing professional emails, memos, and letters.
Overseeing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) basic postings.
Performing daily, weekly, and monthly finance reconciliations.
Maintaining an organized filing system for easy and prompt retrieval of documents.
Developing, updating, and executing relevant office procedures to streamline operations and facilitate compliance.

Requirements
Qualification and Skills:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Previous experience in handling AP, AR, and GL.
Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and other relevant software applications.
Demonstrated ability to be highly organized with excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize projects effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Note: This role requires efficient multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Having a recognized certification in bookkeeping will be an added advantage.
