DESCRIPTION OF WORK

You will serve as the Senior Purchasing Coordinator by providing procurement support to staff, as well as maintaining and handling the bureau purchasing card with integrity. You will be responsible for gathering, assembling, correlating, and analyzing facts and suggesting solutions to purchasing related issues and concerns. Effective and professional communication skills will be essential as you collaborate and engage with various levels of staff. You will also predict trends using basic mathematical and statistical methods. In addition, this position will offer you an opportunity to utilize your strong multi-tasking and organizational skills as you transition effectively between multiple assignments and track priorities throughout the completion tasks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Telework availability will be dependent upon operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as an Administration and Management Trainee performing technical management analysis work; or One year of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
