Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and perform crucial repairs and preventive maintenance on food processing equipment. Your role will involve mechanical and electrical repairs, machinery breakdown for cleaning, and startup procedures. You will engage in limited troubleshooting during non-operational hours and work within a CMMS system for managing PMs and work orders. Experience the dynamic work schedules with opportunities for shift flexibility, and contribute to serving high-profile end customers. You will be provided with necessary gowns, steel-toed boots, and both basic and specialty tools, with the option to bring your own basic tools.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with pneumatics, power transmission, pulleys, chains, sprockets, drives, motors, conveyors

  • Experience or familiarity with control voltage (24V) and 3 phase up to 480V

  • Mechanical repairs including drives, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics

  • Electrical troubleshooting and repairs

  • Knowledge of low and high-pressure hydraulics

  • Knowledge of mechanical repairs, drives, and motors

  • Knowledge of industrial PLCs (desirable)

  • Skills in electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and safety

Soft Skills

Work Environment

The facility is a refrigerated food manufacturing plant where adherence to GMPs is required daily. Multiple openings are available across various shifts, and the facility operates on a 2, 2, 3 shift pattern. Flexible scheduling is offered within reason for the maintenance team.
