DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a key member of senior management, you will have the important task of overseeing and coordinating efforts to address environmental justice concerns for all citizens of the Commonwealth. Your role will involve providing information and clarifications on DEP policies and procedures, Environmental Hearing Board processes, and promoting public participation within environmental justice communities across the state. Your extensive knowledge and experience in socio-economic and environmental issues, environmental advocacy programs, current environmental trends, and DEP operational programs and permitting processes will be invaluable. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to facilitate consensus building, are crucial for this role.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 4 (Commonwealth title); or Eight years of experience in progressively responsible and varied management or staff work, including personnel management, fiscal management, budgeting, or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must possess supervisory experience, You must be able to perform essential job functions.
