As the Director, Bureau of Operational Excellence, you will collaborate with the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and executive staff as you plan, organize, and direct program support and quality improvement services provided for the delivery of prevention, intervention, treatment, and related activities. Through coordination of department-wide efforts, your work will focus on improving evaluation and outcomes for various initiatives, and developing and expanding education and training opportunities for substance use disorders (SUD) providers, problem gambling service providers, affected stakeholders, and other parties. You will also be responsible for overseeing programmatic implementation of state and federally funded initiatives and projects, including the Substance Use Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Services (SUPTRS) Block Grant. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Work includes planning, organizing, and directing program support and quality improvement services provided for the delivery of prevention, intervention, treatment, and related activities. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six years of professional experience administering drug and alcohol or substance use disorder programs, including three years in a supervisory capacity, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of professional supervisory experience in the administration of drug and alcohol or substance use disorder programs.

Additional Requirements: You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience developing and implementing at least one or more of the following: Quality improvement programs data analysis; or Grants management; or Program implementation
