Reference #: 4366831 THE POSITION Are you an undergraduate or graduate-level student interested in all things digital communication, video editing, graphic design, influencer strategy, coding, or digital services?  Would you like to gain hands-on digital experience working within Pennsylvania's Office of the Governor?  Then consider applying to the Office of Digital Strategy!  We are seeking an intern for the upcoming 2024 Summer session.  The internship is expected to run late May 2024 - August 2024.

The Office of the Governor's Office of Digital Strategy is a first-of-its kind office in Pennsylvania, charged with leading the Governor's online communications and Pennsylvanians' experiences online.  We work in social media, influencer management, web and software design, and pretty much anything having to do with the Internet.  We want your ideas, concepts, and solutions!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an intern for the Office of Digital Strategy, you will gain valuable experience in all areas of digital strategy, ranging from social content and design to digital services.  This opportunity offers time and space to develop your professional expertise within our internal departments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Potential part-time or full-time internship, 25 to 37.5 hours per week. Work schedule will be flexible within 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Note: You may have the option to work in-person or hybrid, depending on the needs of both the intern and the office. Some level of reporting in-person is required. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Current enrollment in a undergraduate or graduate degree program.

Graduates from Spring of 2024 may also be considered for this program.

Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher).

Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university.

Additional Requirements:

You must be studying or have graduated with a degree in communications, advertising and marketing, electronic and digital media communication, or a similar major or degree program.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
