DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As Content Strategist, you will develop and execute detailed plans for digital experience content creation to serve Pennsylvanians accessing vital services through Commonwealth websites. Bring new and innovative thinking to our content strategy, oversight of user experience and design, and utilization of all available technical possibilities to maximize user engagement with Commonwealth content.

Our ideal candidate will synthesize content strategy, best practices, customer feedback, research findings, and other insights into actionable plans. You and your team will create engaging content and implement effective methods to consistently track, measure, and improve future deliverables. Your expertise will ensure that our agencies are presented with high-quality content reflecting up-to-date industry trends, audiences, and platform best practices that will make the Commonwealth more accessible for Pennsylvanians online. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years as a Digital Director 1; or Six years of professional communications experience, including four years in digital communications, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements: You must possess at least two years of experience leading content strategy for a consumer-facing company or government entity. You must possess at least three years of experience working directly in CMS tools examples include AEM, Wordpress, Drupal, etc.). You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

The selected candidate for this position must undergo a fingerprint-based records check to be in compliance with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS).
