Geisinger Compensation Analyst Senior (Remote) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking an experienced compensation professional to join a well-established compensation team that provides compensation solutions for clinical and non-clinical roles for a large integrated healthcare system. Experience with Workday and provider compensation a plus! This is a remote work opportunity. Responsible for the evaluation, development, implementation, and administration of the Employee Base Pay Program. Ensures compensation practices and programs are competitive within the marketplace and in compliance with state and federal laws. Evaluates, develops, implements and administers compensation programs that will ensure internal and external equity, and enhance the selection and retention of a qualified workforce.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for consultation, education and communication of compensation programs to executives, leaders, HR colleagues and employees

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of compensation programs, including formal job grades and salary ranges, costing and job evaluations.

  • Recommends new programs or adapt current programs to ensure the organization's competitive position in the marketplace.

  • Provides recommendations in the coordination of salary survey selection, participation and the compilation of compensation data for submission.

  • Responsible for the analysis of survey results and determination of the organization's competitive position.

  • Leads compensation projects and initiatives.

  • Recommends performance and market increases in administering and adjusting system increase salary budgets.

  • Provides support to finance as needed throughout the year to maintain the salary budget.

  • Consults with managers in providing employee communication regarding compensation programs, the employee's position's placement in the salary structure, the employee's placement in the pay range, organization's policies and procedures related to compensation, and the impact and adherence to Federal Laws regarding compensation.

  • In conjunction with payroll and workforce management ensures payroll and timekeeping coding is accurate to account for FLSA and allow for accurate analysis of the pay program and bonus and incentives.

  • Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and advising executives, leaders and HR colleagues on equity and compression issues within the organization.

  • Leads and participates in project teams as a compensation advisor.

  • Leads teams with job evaluations, salary placement of positions, and job descriptions.

  • Provides guidance and understanding of position relationships within the organization.

  • Assumes a leadership role in evaluating, developing, and implementing policy and procedural changes to improve the effectiveness throughout the compensation department.

  • Facilitates various technological initiatives in support of human resources and business process improvements.

  • Mentors and assists in training Compensation Analysts.

Education

Bachelor's Degree- (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Human Resources Management (Preferred)

Experience
