DESCRIPTION OF WORK The main responsibility of this role is to develop and coordinate market development programs for Pennsylvania's produced and processed food products. Additionally, it involves managing the agricultural commodity marketing boards (ACMA) and overseeing the collection and distribution of producer assessments. This position also handles the processing of annual assessment payments, attends ACMA meetings, maintains grant application templates, disseminates research reports, and collaborates with the administrative assistant on audit reports. Furthermore, it involves working with the legal office to pursue legal action on delinquent producers, researching new avenues to locate missing producers, collaborating with the communications office on press releases and social media content, and ensuring the proper functioning of ACMA software and security updates.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
