Fort Pitt Capital Group, LLC Client Service Associate - Harrisburg, PA (In-Office) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Fort Pitt Capital Group – an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) – is currently seeking a Client Service Associate (CSA) to join our Harrisburg team.   The CSA plays a crucial role in supporting the client relationship by handling operational and administrative tasks involved in financial planning and wealth management.  The CSA works directly with a Financial Advisor, supporting that advisor’s book of business.  This is a non-licensed position and does not provide advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with Financial Advisors to assist clients

  • Manage client cash needs including withdrawals, deposits, contributions, distributions, and posting checks

  • Handle the required minimum distribution (RMD) process, including calculations, client notifications, processing, and monitoring

  • Coordinate with external professionals (e.g., accountants, attorneys, trustees) and internal team members to meet client needs, especially during tax season and for pledged asset lines

  • Schedule and confirm client reviews and appointments

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new clients

  • Maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) database with accurate client account data and contact details

  • Organize and maintain both physical and digital client files per standard operating procedures

    Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

  • Preferred: Customer service experience and prior experience in a Financial Services environment

    Position Details

  • Location : Harrisburg, PA location (Downtown)

  • Reporting To : Client Service Manager

  • Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

  • Some evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand

  • Work Arrangement : After 6-months, 4 days in-office and 1 day remote

  • Employment Type : Full-Time (40 hours per week), Exempt (No Overtime)

  • Travel : Little to no travel required

  • Compensatio n: Competitive base salary
