DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Business Analyst 1, you will be identifying and addressing operation, financial, and technological risks within the office. You will be responsible for facilitating the development of business/functional/systems requirements and process models through interviews, document analysis, workshops, and other tools during project planning activities and deployments, including change management processes. In this role, you will ensure alignment and define success measures for projects and technical solutions in relation to the current corporate goals and strategies. You will be given the opportunity to evaluate the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met, as well as serve as a liaison between business and information technology staff performing system coding. Additional responsibilities may include: Maintaining, testing, and improving business and systems operations Relaying ideas and viewpoints to management Developing, revising, and implementing policies, procedures, and standards to improve quality, efficiency, and cost savings Synthesizing research findings and insights into actionable recommendations and delivering them in high quality deliverables for team and executive level audiences Providing support to Enterprise Data Office project, data analysis, and data operations teams Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Work schedule includes reporting in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
