Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania. This role is essential for managing our company's credit-related activities within the telecom industry. As part of the Accounts Payable team, you will be responsible for processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries, among other duties.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records.
• Resolve customer credit inquiries effectively and professionally.
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to identify delinquent payments.
• Implement appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments.
• Ensure all credit-related activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to enhance credit management processes.
• Use accounting software, such as Netsuite, to manage credit-related tasks.
• Ensure the confidentiality of customer credit information at all times.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve credit-related issues. Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) software
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• High efficiency in Microsoft Excel
