Island Club Coordinator

HOURS: FULL TIME POSITION(S); HOURS ARE AS SCHEDULED, MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS WAGE: DEPENDENT UPON QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide superior customer service.
  • Resolve or assist in resolution of customer complaints or comments.
  • Maintain close communications with Island Club Supervisors and Manager on Island Club Staff and workings along with proper daily documentation.
  • Schedule employees and maintain changes on posted schedules including daily break, bus schedules and assigned areas.
  • Perform host duties and play an active roll in all Island Club Teams. Rate and track VIP's for complimentary benefits.
  • Verify accuracy of pit ratings when presented with reports.
  • Print approved complimentary tickets, verify ticket orders, reprint tickets & return and/or exchange approved concert tickets.
  • Maintain accurate area hotel/motel logs from issuing and upon return.
  • Enter entertainment information into Group for proper tracking.
  • Evaluate employees including needed corrective actions to supervisors.
  • Implement ideas and changes to keep all teams and promotions up to date to ensure that activities do not become mundane for patrons.
  • Oversee the rotations of paperwork to be filed or moved to warehouse.
  • Maintain and monitor Island Club/Ticket logs and coupons issued by Host.
  • Ensure proper flyers and brochures are available to patrons.
  • Work special promotions from beginning to end, follow through when requested and as needed.
  • Oversee training of new hires with mentors.
  • Attend meetings when requested to be present.
  • Maintain marketing inventory control on the Gaming Floor.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure hosts are properly utilized in all aspects of the casino floor.
  • Issue complimentary meals, hotel, drinks etc.
  • Maintain customer records, voids, redemptions, and comps.
  • Maintain proper logs in Island Club pertaining to incorrect mailings, coupons, etc.
  • Assist in creating hotel packages and convention perks.
  • Assist with month training of driver/escorts.
  • Perform manual point of sale adjustments from point of sale terminals.
  • Oversee and document employee performance, address improvements needed or immediate issues up to, not including disciplinary action.
  • Usher for headline entertainment events when needed.
  • Attend all pertinent training seminars or conferences, (where travel may be required).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: *High School Diploma or GED. *Experience: *Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience serving in a supervisory capacity within the last 3 years or 4 years current Island Club experience. *Knowledge: *Knowledge of Ticketing and Info Genesis, Oasis (omniview & super playmate) Gift works, Microsoft Windows, Excel & Word. *Skills and Abilities: Must have the ability to handle a stressful, fast paced environment. Must be able to resolve situations as they present themselves, and be able to think quickly to resolve them with good judgment. Must be able to prioritize and handle several tasks at one time with constant interruptions and deadlines. Must have excellent interpersonal communications skills. Must have the ability to lead by example with superior customer service. Must be able to quickly master new or job specific programs. Must be available to work any day/any shift, holidays and weekends.
