CIRCLE B GRAIN INC General Farm Ranch in HARLEM, Montana

Temporary full-time position from 2/15/2025 to 12/14/2025. Seasonal duties for cattle production: Worker will be asked to assist with calving, and may be asked to work split shifts during this period. During this period, worker will be sorting and moving cows into pens and corrals and then out to pasture after they have calved. Worker will be asked to assist with vaccinating/tagging and banding calves, maintaining fences. No feeding is required during summer months when cattle are grazing on pasture grass. Worker will then again assist with livestock in the Fall for weaning and shipping. At this point cattle are moved into feed pens, Cattle are shipped in November. 4 wheelers are used for moving cows. No seasonal labor is required between mid-November to mid-February as these are the non-productive months.Seasonal duties for farm production: Worker will be required to pick rocks from field in preparation for planting. Irrigation begins in June and requires worker to work split shifts. 4 wheelers are used for irrigation. Worker will drive tractor to move hay bales. Worker will be required to drive tandem truck and smaller equipment to haul and deliver grain and hay from field to ranch and market. Worker will be required to have or obtain a Drivers' License. Worker will work long hours during harvest. Worker will be asked to repair and maintain equipment. Must be willing and able to occasionally live and work independently or in small groups of workers in isolated areas for extended periods of time. Most duties are performed out of doors, and entail exposure to snakes and other predators; as well as heat, cold, dust, rain, snow and other environmental conditions. Worker must be able to crouch, bend, lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
