Job Title: Production Laborer
Job Description
Laborers will be working in a railyard for an aggregate company. Laborers will be responsible for unloading up to 30 railcars a day. They will open railcar doors with a crowbar or other hand tools. Laborers will ensure all material is released from the railcar and into the funnel to the conveyor belt. They will also be responsible for manual labor and general clean-up of the facility, including using shovels and performing preventive maintenance on railcars such as greasing bearings.
Hard Skills
1+ years experience working outdoors
Proficient with hand tools
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Experience performing physical or manual labor
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
Work Environment
Hot in hot months, cold in cold months, physical labor, outdoors, a bit dusty
