Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Harbor City, California

Description

We are offering an engaging opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in San Pedro, California. The role is mainly responsible for overseeing monthly financial closures, managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and ensuring accuracy in financial records within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the completion of month-end close procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

• Preparation of financial statements and other reports for management review.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, which include processing payments, managing invoices, and following up on outstanding balances.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel for tracking financial transactions accurately.

• Assist in the transition to new software systems for improved efficiency.

• Reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate cash flow management.

• Monitor expenses and recommend strategies to streamline financial processes.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives as needed.

• Ensure the accurate use of various accounting functions and systems such as ADP - Financial Services, Great Plains, and Computerized Accounting System.

• Conduct cash flow analysis and manage the annual budget.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Computerized Accounting System

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Proficient in performing Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget

• Skilled in Cash Flow Analysis

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is preferred.
