Corteva Agriscience Maintenance Multi-Craft in Harbor Beach, Michigan

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Multi-Craft to join our company at our Harbor Beach, Michigan production facility. This role requires a highly motivated person with scaffold building or insulation and modification experience.

This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.

What You’ll Do:

  • Layout, plan, secure, modify, remove/install insulation and scaffold as needed to enable maintenance jobs and small projects.

  • Help develop efficient work process and continually improve work process.

  • Mentor/train others as needed.

  • Responsible for management of the scaffold and insulation inventory.

  • Work in Maintenance Management System (ERP) manage schedules, order parts, track work orders, etc.

  • Execute basic multi-craft tasks.

  • Perform basic hand rigging of scaffolding and scaffolding parts.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • You have your High School Diploma/GED.

What Skills You Need:

  • You have a valid US drivers license.

  • You have experience with and a solid understanding of insulating and/or scaffold parts, planning and installation.

  • You are willing and able to obtain necessary certifications.

  • You value safety and always take care to follow safety rules and procedures.

  • You are familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with basic tasks such as checking email and entering information.

  • You are willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • You are a team player and willing to work with others to complete the job.

  • You are willing and able to work a daytime schedule with overtime as well as being part of the on-call rotation schedule.

Preferences – It Would Be Great If You Have:

  • 2 years work experience in scaffold building and/or insulation installation.

  • Previous experience working in a chemical plant.
