Description
Robert Half has an opening for a Customer Service Representative position with our client in Harahan, Louisiana. In this role, you will be playing a pivotal role in managing customer interactions, processing orders, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our product catalog. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Learn and memorize item codes for our range of flavors and supplies
• Manage order processing, including data entry, packing, and shipping coordination
• Maintain a high level of customer service by managing incoming calls on multiple phone lines
• Ensure accurate entry of order details into our system
• Coordinate with the warehouse for order dispatch and monitor the order till delivery
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing accurate information and superior service
• Perform additional office duties as needed to support business operations
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to track, update, and manage customer records
• Ensure a thorough understanding of our products and their entry into the system
• Manage the generation of invoices and tracking numbers for customer orders
Requirements
• Applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar role is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is mandatory
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
• Must display a customer-oriented mindset at all times
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices would be a plus
• Willingness to work in different shifts or extended hours if required
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary
• Knowledge of additional languages can be an added advantage
• Must be comfortable handling customer complaints and queries
• Demonstrated patience and ability to handle customer frustrations
• A positive and resilient attitude towards work is essential
• Basic numerical abilities to handle transactions if required
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
