Reference #: 5001051117600 Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team and is currently recruiting for a Production Utility person to work from our manufacturing facility located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This position will be a part of our NEW Weekend Night crew. Required hours are Saturday-Sunday 6PM-6AM with the opportunity to flex up to 40 hours Monday-Friday. Key Responsibilities: Ability to learn and perform/substitute in the following production tasks: Packer Lineperson Cleanup and Disposing of Waste Peeler/Fryer Operator Potato Unloader Machine Operator Ability to safely operate forklift and pallet jack. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be flexible with rotating through all positions during a shift and work week. Participates in all sanitation activities in order to maintain, clean and safeguard equipment and facilities used for the packaging and processing of food products. This includes but is not limited to the use of mild to moderate chemicals and spray cleaners, compressed air tools and cloths to hand-wipe equipment. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements: Requires basic reading and math skills. Mechanically inclined to understand potato unloading equipment. Must be able to learn and perform each of the positions in the packaging process. Standing and walking required 100% of the time. The ability to obtain and maintain a for lift license and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to communicate production issues to fellow co-workers and supervision. Spreading Joy Through Food!
