Reference #: 5000991113500 Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA at our High Street facility on Weekend Day Shift. As a Wastewater Treatment Operator, this candidate will be responsible to monitor and operate wastewater equipment and performs laboratory and daily operational tests. This position will be required to work Friday-Sunday 5:00am-5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities Monitors waste water operations and equipment (clarifiers, pump frequency and rate, oil separation, pH neutralization). Assists in the operation of the filter press. Assists in operating DAF System and Batch Reactor. Performs daily operational tests and maintains a daily log of results, observations, and maintenance performed (pH, Settleable Solids). Performs laboratory testing logging results as directed Performs maintenance on wastewater equipment with assistance from plant maintenance personnel. Responsible for the sanitation of all waste treatment equipment and areas. Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position. Spreading Joy Through Food! Requires knowledge of waste water operations usually acquired through two years of experience. Requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. A CDL license is preferred Requires the ability to operate a forklift. A Commonwealth of PA Waste Treatment Operator's License is preferred Required to wear non-slip shoes and appropriate personal protective equipment.
