Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Job Description

The HR Generalist will perform Human Resource related duties at the professional level and carry out responsibilities in employee/labor relations, staffing and recruitment, affirmative action, and other daily Human Resources related activities. This role involves conducting workplace investigations, maintaining high visibility and accessibility with employees, managing semi-monthly payroll, actively participating in plant-wide initiatives, and full cycle recruiting for designated departments. The position includes regular Monday to Friday work hours with flexibility in lunch breaks.

Hard Skills

  • Employee Relations/Investigations experience is required (i.e. leading investigations and handling resolutions)

  • Full cycle recruitment experience

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

  • Experience leading investigations and handling resolutions

  • WorkDay experience is preferred

Soft Skills

  • Problem resolution

  • Interpersonal communication

  • Discretion and independent judgment

Work Site

  • This is a fully on-site position in Hanover, Pennsylvania.

  • Expereince in a manufacturing/warehouse setting is preferred

Work Environment

The position is based in a food manufacturing facility, primarily located in the office area but requires occasional floor walks. Safety glasses, ear protection, and safety shoes are necessary for floor duties.
