Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Assembly Technicians to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling small parts for elevator doors, walls, and other components, as well as packing parts for shipment. Basic assembly experience or mechanical inclination is preferred. Both entry-level and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
Assemble and pack a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated elevator components.
Perform all operations necessary to assemble, align, and pack elevator subassemblies and assemblies in the allocated times while maintaining quality specifications.
Work from manufacturing information, SAP, COE sheets, engineering drawings, written and oral instructions.
Package and identify completed assemblies for shipment.
Maintain all required records and documents.
Essential Skills
Experience with mechanical assembly or mechanical inclination.
Ability to use hand tools.
Basic blueprint reading skills.
Experience with picking, packing, and kitting.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with electrical components is a plus.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
Work Environment
The work environment is fairly clean with moderate noise levels. Candidates must wear steel-toed boots, long pants, and safety glasses while in the shop. Available shifts include 1st shift from 6am-2pm Monday-Friday and 2nd shift from 2:30pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50
