Aerotek Marketing Communications Manager in Hanover, Maryland

Overview:

Aerotek has an immediate opening for a Marketing Communications Manager at the corporate office in Hanover, MD.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing and directing external marketing materials that align to company strategy and reinforce brand messaging for Aerotek. This person will create core company messaging for B2B and B2C audiences across digital and traditional sales channels by taking a customer-first approach to educate, tell our story, communicate our value, differentiate our services, as well as highlight our experience and expertise. Previous strategic B2B writing, copywriting, email, Web and SEO knowledge is preferred.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement strategic annual plans that align to company priorities, promote our services and communicate our value to the marketplace

  • Lead marketing communications team to execute and deliver consistent brand narratives across marketing materials

  • Liaise with subject matter experts to understand and position new services and solutions

  • Guide discovery and decision-making to create core value messaging. Help internal leaders articulate the value of our offerings from the customer lens and prioritize messages

  • Identify key customer segments, create and maintain detailed customer personas, and use personas to inform content creation as well as targeted marketing tactics

  • Work across marketing team to build holistic, multi-channel content assets, including Web, collateral, email, presentations, case studies, social media, video and thought leadership - writing, guiding, reviewing or editing as needed

  • Partner with web team to continuously optimize website content, effectively balancing business strategy, user experience and SEO needs and best practices

  • Partner with brand team to define and uphold brand voice, guidelines and standards across all marketing assets

  • Manage our public relations agency partner. Identify market and customer trends as well as internal expertise to strengthen our brand reputation and credibility

  • Stay abreast of marketing communications, digital marketing and media trends to produce, measure and evolve content programs

  • Coordinate with internal partners to educate internal employees about marketing resources that create avenues for field teams to connect with potential customers

  • Coach and lead team to create high quality, high performing content and develop team based on marketing competencies and individual development plans

  • Set direction, manage workload and team priorities

  • Create streamlined workflows and standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and timely execution of projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in relevant field such as marketing, advertising, communications, journalism or English

  • Minimum of 8-10 years related work experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly capable of building strong professional relationships with leadership and senior stakeholders

  • Experience setting priorities, coordinating and supervising daily activities of direct team

  • Strong understanding of and experience in various writing styles - Websites, email, media announcements - and strong understanding of digital best practices - SEO, email marketing, competitive listening, web analytics

  • Experience developing customer personas

  • Experience managing vendors, freelancers

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as strong problem solving and decision-making abilities

  • Ability to multi-task, work under firm deadlines and within a rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to work collaboratively with marketing management team and internal customers/stakeholders

Per Pay Transparency Acts: The range for this position is $78,200 - $117,200 + annual bonus potential of $11,500Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
